From Shared Shelf Commons
Getting started
The following are required to access the Shared Shelf Common's images and tools:
- A high-speed internet connection (not a dial-up connection)
- Flash Player, available for free online
Update or install the latest version of Flash
- Popup blockers must be disabled or popup windows allowed from *.sscommons.org and *.sscommons.net.

Need more info? - A minimum monitor resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels
Need more info? - Set screen colors to True Color (32 bit) or better

1Mac users accessing Shared Shelf Commons through Innovative Proxy must have Java version 1.5 or later.
2 You will need to add www.sscommons.org as a trusted site in IE version 7.0+ to access all features in the Image Viewer.
3Macintosh users running Rosetta with Shockwave must turn off this feature in order to use Shared Shelf Commons.
4For stability and support issues Shared Shelf Commons does not support browsers in beta.
Currently, Google Chrome may work in some instances but is not fully supported by Shared Shelf Commons.
Troubleshooting
- Can't open thumbnails?
You may need to disable your popup blockers. - Can't view the icons in the Image Viewer window?
If you are using an Internet Explorer browser, try setting Shared Shelf Commons as a Trusted Site. - Is the Image Viewer window opening blank, with no image?
You may need to clear your browser cache.
