Quick Tips
- To re-create a slide lecture with left and right carousels of images...
- Rearrange the images in the Image Palette, so that all of the images from the "left carousel" are arranged in order in the first half of the collection.
- Then, arrange the images for the "right carousel" in the back half of the collection in the Image Palette.
- Start the Image Palette Presentation and immediately split the screen by clicking on the "Split screen horizontally" icon
in the toolbar.
- In the right-hand side of the screen, click on the "Select an image" icon
in the toolbar.
- Then, use the scroll bar in the image selection list that appears to locate the first image in the "right carousel." Double-click on this image to display it.
- Your first image comparison will display on the screen. To display the second comparison, click on the "Next image" icon
in the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Then, click on the "Next image" icon in the toolbar on the right side of the screen. Continue this procedure to view each subsequent comparison.
- An alternative method of navigating through the presentations is to press the "Space bar" or "Page Down" key, so that the left image advances. Then, press the "Tab" key to shift the focus to the right-hand side of the screen. Press the "Space bar" or "Page Down" key again to advance to the next image on the right side. Continue to use the "Tab" key to toggle back and forth between both sides of the split screen.
- If you have multiple monitors attached to your computer, you may elect to display the Image Palette Presentation in dual screen mode. This will allow you to compare up to 4 images at a time. For more information, please see: Dual screen presentations.
