Print images

Entire image

  1. Double-click an image thumbnail to open the Image Viewer.
  2. Click Image:icon print.gif (the print icon) in the lower right corner of this window.
  3. This will open a print preview window and your default printing dialog. Click Print.
  4. The image will print at up to five and a half inches on the long side. The print-out will also contain the image's descriptive data and a copyright statement. Please note: If you have zoomed or rotated the image click Image:icon reset.gif (the reset icon) to restore the image to its original state.

Detail of image

  1. Double-click an image thumbnail to open the Image Viewer.
  2. Zoom and pan within the image to frame the detail you want to print.
  3. Click Image:icon_print.gif (the print icon) in the lower right corner of this window.
  4. This will open a print preview window and your default printing dialog. Click Print.
  5. The detail will print at up to five and a half inches on the long side. The print-out will also contain the image's descriptive data and a copyright statement.

Print groups

  1. Open an image group.
  2. In the ARTstor navigation bar, click Share > Print image group.
  3. Click on the desired print option:
      • Full record (prints the full ARTstor data records)
      • Brief record with personal notes (prints brief object information (Creator, Title, Date), along with any Personal Notes)
      • Brief record with instructor notes (prints brief object information [Creator, Title, Date], along with any Instructor's Commentary)
  4. A new browser window will open, displaying the images and their data records.
  5. In your browser's toolbar menu click File > Print. Please note: You may also choose to save the Image Group print preview as a web page, which can be posted on a course web site; see Downloading groups.
